What a HOT but Great Hike identify wildflowers out in the Elburn Forest Preserve. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any of the wildflowers (kind of like how we didn't hear frogs or didn't find the skunk cabage), but we still had a great time! We even ran into another Cub Scout Pack out of Geneva. Thanks to the scouts that came out: Ben Loomos, Payton Wurst, Joe Luchessi and Nathan Wurst.

I did not register Pack 251 to participate in the St. Charles Memorial Day parade this year. Many are traveling and we had a low response rate. I will look into the assisting of decorating of the veteran's headstones for that did respond that they would like to participate.

The Pack 251 Family Campout is right around the corner - 6/1-6/3!!!! There is an official pack meeting at the Saturday night campfire. This is where the kids will receive their next neckerchief.
